Student Recruitment & Placement Committee Policy

Each fall the Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (RISOPS) Student Recruitment & Placement Committee provides Rhode Island students an opportunity to interview for possible recommendation to the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM). This year interviews will be held on the morning of Saturday, November 5, 2011.

To schedule an interview each applicant must submit the following materials by October 15, 2011:

College transcripts
MCAT Scores
Copy of your AACOM Application
Two (2) letters of recommendation are required; at least one must be from an undergraduate professor. The other letter may be from a physician, supervising clinician, or employer.
Proof you are a Rhode Island resident or grew up in Rhode Island
Personal Statement (the personal statement from your AACOM application may be used)
